German Economy The German economy is undergoing a profound transformation. How can we ensure long-term growth, competitiveness and prosperity for Germany and Europe? Successful transformation in key sectors requires economic policy reforms. The authors of this book strive to find answers and solutions. An elite group of independent experts from various fields – including business, academia, politics, trade unions and European institutions – provide a new vision of Germany's economic and institutional foundations. They analyze issues of decarbonisation, digital transformation, demographic changes and geopolitical shifts.
