Scott Evans, also known as The Reading Educator, is a neurodiverse elementary teacher, author, and educational consultant dedicated to inspiring children to read. Throughout his career, Scott has become a strong advocate for children's literature, believing that reading is a gateway to vast horizons of opportunity. His commitment is not limited to the classroom, but extends to all aspects of life, placing great emphasis on inclusive inclusion, with a strong focus on advocating for greater awareness and appreciation of neurodiversity in children and adults alike, especially in the teaching profession. 'Boy Fitz Hammond' has worked with numerous organisations, including Oxfam, Shelter, the BBC, Honda, Microsoft and the Barclays Premier League. His illustrations have also been used by editorial, educational, and publishing publications on a variety of titles. He was recently shortlisted for the British Book Award - Children's Non-Fiction Book of the Year - for his illustrations in Alex George's A Better Day: Your Guide to Positive Mental Health.
