Future Knowledge Center for Research and Studies
The Future Knowledge Center for Research and Studies (known as the “Maaref Center” for short) is a national scientific association and an independent civil intellectual institution based in Morocco. The center focuses on intellectual, cultural, political, and economic studies of interest to the Arab and Islamic world in general, and the Moroccan scene in particular. Areas of work and interests of the Center: The Center is active in organizing events and issuing research through several main tracks: Intellectual and cultural studies: discussing the readings and projects of great thinkers (such as the projects of Muhammad Abed Al-Jabri, Allal Al-Fassi) and issues of identity and modernity. Islamic economics and finance: issuing specialized studies in development and financial alternatives, such as “investment sukuks” and “contemporary formulas for investing endowments.” Geopolitical and strategic issues: following up and analyzing major transformations in the region, such as organizing seminars and issuing collective books on the Palestinian issue and its strategic dimensions after October 2023.
