Institute of Politics and Society
The Institute of Politics and Society is a non-profit organization and an independent studies and research institute that aims, through its work, to achieve stability and prosperity in Jordan and the region and to enhance knowledge frameworks and tools in the region and its societies. The Institute analyzes and anticipates risks and changes and presents creative ideas and practical solutions that contribute to addressing local and regional challenges in the political, security, economic and social fields, especially those related to demographic shifts and the role of youth in politics and society. The Institute also contributes to clarifying public policies and complex challenges and enhancing the knowledge base of citizens and officials about the local and global transformations that determine the features of this future. The Institute plays its role within the system of national values in promoting the culture of moderation, centrism, the rule of law, good governance and the development of democratic life. The Institute’s Board of Trustees plays the role of supervising and directing the Institute’s policies and annual plans. The CEO of the Institute manages its work and programs through the Institute’s team and the participating experts and advisors. The work of the Institute, in addition to the studies and research it conducts, includes providing consultations. Training in various fields contributes to training young people on the values of citizenship, democracy, the rule of law, and comprehensive national principles. The Institute also, through its research and training programs in the field of policy building, enhances the decision-maker’s ability to deal with pressing challenges and build the necessary strategies to confront risks. The Institute aims to focus the efforts of a number of researchers, experts and specialists from different fields in an integrated manner in building practical ideas and solutions to current challenges and expected changes to support the work of institutions and enhance the ability to achieve the national interest.
