Cultural Center for the Book

The Cultural Book Center is a Moroccan publishing house and library, founded with the aim of providing readers direct access to high-quality books, in Arabic, French and English. We are simultaneously an independent publisher, official distributor, and multi-brand e-bookstore, with one mission: to spread ideas, stories, and knowledge right here in Morocco. The center was founded in 2016 by Bassam Al-Kurdi, an expert in the field of books who has more than 40 years of experience in publishing and distribution. The center was quickly able to establish its position as a reference actor in the world of Arab books. Annually, we publish a selection of books that combine depth and ease, in the Arabic language, in the fields of literature, critical thought, philosophy, and humanities, in addition to translations. Our editorial line is guided by a clear desire: to give text, idea, and knowledge transmission a central place. In addition to our own publications, we provide readers in Morocco with publications from international publishing houses through exclusive or priority distribution agreements.
