غزة: قصة إبادة جماعية
_Gaza: The Story of Genocide_ is a poignant and urgent collection that includes personal testimonies, poems, art, and reports from the heart of the event. Together, these works bear witness to the massive and ongoing devastation being inflicted on the Palestinian people – their lives, their land, and their future. Ahmed Al Nouq recounts the tragic loss of twenty-one members of his family. Nour al-Yaqoubi offers a painful meditation on famine. Maryam Barghouti addresses the brutality of Israeli settler violence in the West Bank, while Iman Bashir describes the phenomenon of “the wounded child who does not escape from his family.” These voices, along with many others, highlight the ongoing psychological, physical, and generational toll of state violence. With contributions from winners of the Palestinian Book Award, the Arab American Book Award, the Pulitzer Prize, the Emmy Award, the National Book Award, and the Gandhi Peace Prize, this collection also honors the late poet Heba Abu Nada, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike on her home in Khan Yunis, Gaza, on October 20, 2023. All proceeds will be donated directly to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Near East.
