#### A philosophical guide to facing our most difficult moments, from the author of “Powerlessness is Danger.” * Sometimes, life forces us to stop and reconsider whether we have truly learned how to live. From this perspective, and within the conceptual framework of life (survival, pre-survival, and coexistence), the philosopher Maurizio Ferraris reflects on human existence, which is characterized by personal and cultural experiences, memories, and learning. This moment of pause reveals a network of feelings and memories that connect us to what we have lived, read, and shared. Ferraris combines philosophy and literature, drawing on the ideas of philosophers such as Montaigne, Heidegger, Nietzsche, Derrida, Proust, Yourcenar, Fitzgerald, and Hemingway. The result is a profound and moving work that invites us to reconsider life through its ups and downs, showing that even in fragility, there is room to try again.
