من الأخبار الكاذبة إلى السلطة
The emergence of the far right on the Western political scene, which is mysterious but completely explainable, has left democratic citizens confused. This is neither fascism nor traditional National Socialism, nor even Francoism. It is not just nostalgia for the past - although some of it may be present among its members - that facilitates its penetration of young groups that need a leader who shares their frustrations and points out the “causes” of their shortcomings, and at the same time sees in his ideas a political innovation. His rhetoric is anti-state and, of course, he advocates the privatization of all public companies that fairly guarantee the security of all citizens: sensitive areas such as health, education, housing and public pensions will pass into the hands of large international investment funds known as vulture funds. Therefore, this “new” far-right finds itself at a crossroads between rampant capitalism and the dehumanization of social relations, allowing its theories to expand without restrictions. In this regard, there is a point of convergence with fascism: the demonization of those who are different, and holding them responsible for the scourges of the regime.
