الاقتصاد الآخر الذي لا يريدوننا أن نعرفه
الاقتصاد الآخر الذي لا يريدوننا أن نعرفه
Modern Monetary Theory is a relatively new economic approach, but it is widely popular in academic and political circles, and is sure to gain greater importance in the future due to its pioneering and controversial nature. Indeed, many economists believe that it will become the new economic model for the next generation. Caricatured by some and exaggerated by others, this book aims to explain his proposals precisely, but also with great clarity and simplicity, which will enable us to abandon many of the myths that traditional economic theory has long implanted in our minds: “Austerity is necessary to balance the public accounts”, “The state must collect taxes to make ends meet”, “An aging population puts our public pensions at risk”... The left always faces the same question: where do we get the money to finance the policies we need? He always ends up involved in debates about raising taxes on the wealthy or combating tax evasion, debates that often reach a dead end in a globalized world. In contrast, Modern Monetary Theory provides a solid and reliable answer, enabling us to plan, implement and defend transformative policies without any hesitation or doubt.
