This book focuses on developments in sociological research. The questions that will be addressed in the first chapter address the contribution of the environmental factor to the phenomenon of migration. It also conducts a systematic review of the literature across the scientific databases Scopus and Google Scholar, by combining keywords relevant to the topic to identify research studies. Chapter Two critically analyzes the principle of expropriation for public good as a governmental power to expropriate private property for public good in exchange for compensation. Chapter Three seeks to confirm the view that Plutarch's methodology for writing history was grounded in his "a priori" intentions, derived from political procedures, scientific field research, and mythological inference. Chapter Four addresses the issue of workplace violence against child protection workers, which is a very important and little-discussed issue. It places these experiences within social frameworks of work, authority, and organizational responsibility, providing analytical insights and practical recommendations. Chapter 5 explores the complex relationship between technology and human interaction, examining how social media platforms, instant messaging, and online communities contribute to feelings of isolation despite their primary goal of enhancing connection. Chapter Six addresses these emerging dynamics from a sociological perspective, and examines how advanced technologies and participatory cultures are reshaping practices, policies, and perceptions of audiovisual technology in the digital age.
