أن تكون صالحا لا عظيما (افعل الصواب افعله الآن)
أن تكون صالحا لا عظيما (افعل الصواب افعله الآن)
The most prominent evidence of justice being on the throne of virtues is what happens when justice is absent. The generalization of injustice makes any act of virtue worthless... and may even reflect negatively on its doer. Justice is the goal of every virtue and every action, and even the goal of our lives itself. It is the combination of courage and wisdom to know what is right. One telling feature of the state of our world is that when people hear the word “justice,” they think of the judicial system; They think about lawyers and politics. We are much more busy fighting for our “rights” than fighting for what is right. Calling this interpretation of justice an “indictment” of modern values may seem overly straightforward, but it is hard to find another way to describe it. Nothing is right if we do not commit to doing what is right. In a world full of uncertainties, where many things fall beyond our control, where evil exists and those who commit it go unpunished, the commitment to living a good life becomes a refuge that protects us from all the pain that evil instills in our souls. This right life is justice, meaning saying and doing what is right. The goal of this book is to place justice in the north position of our moral compass, so that it becomes the polar star that guides and directs us in our lives, in good times and in bad, just as Gandhi, Marcus Aurelius, Martin Luther King, and many others guided us... This justice is manifested in doing what is right now.
