الحرب الباردة الجديدة وإعادة تشكيل المناطق
الحرب الباردة الجديدة وإعادة تشكيل المناطق
This book provides an in-depth study of how secondary states maintain their strategic independence and resist spheres of influence. Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the deterioration of relations between the United States and China signal the beginning of a new Cold War. Unlike the first Cold War, this competition is multipolar and complex, with secondary powers, small states, and even non-state actors practically choosing which of their interests intersect with those of the great powers. The book “The New Cold War and the Remaking of Regions_” confirms that multipolarity and complexity have important repercussions on the global regional system. The book's contributors address the new Cold War and territorial reshaping processes from realist, liberal, and constructivist perspectives. They show how changing regional dynamics will lead either to peaceful change or to conflict. This book is part of a new wave of scholarship that expands the scope of international relations beyond the great powers and acknowledges the increasing role that other states have acquired in the twenty-first century global order.
