From the best-selling author of _Everyone in My Family Killed Someone,_ comes a fun and intelligent murder novel set in a closed room ([Train](https://www.harpercollins.com/products/everyone-on-this-train-is-a-suspect-benjamin-stevenson?variant=41281421475874)), similar to _Murder on_ the Orient Express._ With Ernest Cunningham, Stevenson “introduced a modern Poirot to the world of crime fiction” (Michelle Carpenter). When the Australian Detective Writers Association invited me to its detective writing festival on board the famous Ghan train between Darwin and Adelaide, I was hoping to find some inspiration for my second detective novel. This time, I was looking for fiction: I needed a break from real murder stories. Obviously it didn't work. The program features a selection of the most prominent crime writers: _Beginner Writer (me!)_ _Forensic Writer_ _Bizarre Novels Writer_ _Legal Thriller Writer_ _Literary Writer_ _Psychological Suspense Writer_ But when one of us is murdered, the remaining authors quickly become five detectives. Together, we must know how to solve a crime. Of course, we must also know how to make a mistake. How do you find a killer when all the suspects know how to get away with it?
